Default Raceland Coilovers May be Available Soon for our xD

Well I have been following along the tC suspension forums and reading about the Raceland coilovers and it seems the tC owners are extremely happy with them...For the price (less than $300) they can't be beat...I know, sounds to good to be true but I read all 70 pages last night and it seems everyone is happy...It also looks like the VW folks are rocking them too...

So, I took it upon myself to email Raceland and express interest in these coilovers and ask them if they had plans on making these for the Scion xD...Here is the email I got back from them...

Thanks for your question,

We actually are looking into manufacturing for that car thank you for the suggestion keep checking our website for future product: www.racelandus.com

Thanks,

RacelandUS

Here is the tC thread about the coilovers if you wanna read about them... https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=162624

too lazy to read. but judging from the price, these are prolly spring & perch type coilovers rather then a true coilover. Nothing against them but u still have to invest in shocks if ur looking to be competitive with it. Or u can use the stockers if ur only goal is looks but be aware u are shortening the life of the shocks

Sounds halfway decent... I'd be interested in a set if they did make them... $300 is a LOT easier to get a hold of than $1200 for some other sets...

Exactly...We lower or cars on lowering springs without changing shocks which CAN shorten the life of our shocks...It's a small sacrifice I would be willing to take...After reading all the satisfied customers, I don't think you can go wrong here...Heck, you can pay upwards up to $250 on just a good set of springs nowadays...

You're right! Dude just my DF210 were $160 and that was just for springs! Not to mention shocks are REALLY expensive... Almost as much as coilovers in some cases.

As long as they can make it with a consistantly good quality and make them reliable I'd buy them!

Racelands are junk.. i have a few buddies that rock them not on scions... they are cheaply made and ride like garbage... that does not take away from the fact that they do go low.... and for $300 bucks thats a good deal... i would just save the money and get something nicer....

1. I have not heard of any breaking due to poor quality...

2. Ride quality is relative to how low you have them set...

This is from what I gathered reading the tC forums...Like I said, $300 I can part with, but $1200 I can't...

I will rock them when they come out...When you guys have nothing better to do, I suggest you read through the tC thread on them and make your own opinions...

Zefoxe, these are TRUE coilovers, NOT coilover sleeves, there's nothing be used from the stock suspension jus ur top hats.

this is NOT a coilover sleeve people, this is a genuine coilover. and for the person that said there buddy had them, wat cars did they have? so far volkswagens, BMWs and hondas are doing good aswell as scions with these, yeah I wouldn't use these for tracking but for looks that's a whole different story

i have 2 buddies with miatas and 1 with a golf....... both of my friends with miatas got the products with the top strut bolt crossthreaded from the factory causing them to strip so they both had to send them back.... and the one with the golf had them and said that they were the worst ride he has ever had..... so he is know on kw coils..... and let me tell you that even with his car slammed it is barable not like his racelands that were super soft causing them to bottom out all over the place... and just ride like crap..... i have yet to be in a scion with a set
