Default tanabe lowering

The xd seems pretty high off the ground just stocked. Or maybe its just me haha but It looks like it would still get bump clearance even if you lowered it. Do you guys still have bump clearance? How many inches do you have off the ground? Help! :]

I have DF210's and i haven't bottomed out on anything yet. I haven't measured my clearance exactly though, so i can't tell you that part. but i will tell you is that after i lowered it, i didn't feel like i was in an SUV all the time, and now I'm the same height as everyone else.

i do love my Df210s. the rear is tucked pretty nice but theres still about an inch of wheel well you can see in the front. ive never had a problem bottoming out with mine either. ive got 16" rims on stock tires too.

I'm on 18X8's, 35 offset with the Tanabe DF210's and I rubbed...When I ran the same rims with the TRD springs I DID NOT rub...So, took a grinder to the inner fender and the rubbing problem is solved I love the way the DF's ride...

runnin on tc wheels right now. 17x7 ii believe. df springs. like others mention. rear is pretty tucked in. fronts I think its 2 finger gap (not really liking that). I dont know about others but if I go through a speed bump with a rear passenger. it will sprape depending on the speed bump . But just looking at it being low looks very nice. stock height is crazy high

For a nice drop without the worrying of "scraping", go with either the Tanabe NF210's or the TRD's...Either one of those will suit you fine...

I have Tein's its like a 1 inch finger gap with the stock 16's, now with tc wheels its a 1 and a half. And dont worry about scraping, you always hear it but it'll ever scratch your bumper.

I ran DF210s for about a week on my 16" O.Z. wheels without a a single issue as far as speed bumps and speed tables go, even took it to target just to play around where they have ridiculous speed bump sizes here and cleared fine.

Once i moved to the 15" BBS's however, that changed lol. speed tables are fine for the most part, but i avoid speed bumps like the plague. they dont seem to touch anything on the frame, but the exhaust will drag on every one of them.

Hopefully that gives you an idea of what youre getting into. id say as long as you stay close to the proper OEM tire size, youll be fine on DFs

Also you will have to be a little more careful on sudden/steep inclines and declines, taking them at an angle for the really drastic ones, but for the most part as long as you take things like that slowly, you should be just fine.
