do the xD and yaris share suspension components? can i use xD springs on a yaris and vice versa?

what about rear sway bar....?

what about the xa and xb1 compared to the xd....?

 

well, i was checking out TRDUSA.com and it looks like the part #'s for the shocks and rear sway bar are THE SAME for the xD and yaris.....the springs are different. i am, however, not convinced that the springs wouldnt fit, but that they merely have different spring rates based on the vehicle weight differnce (about 320lbs or so for a MT)

the question i ponder regardless is whether or not i can use xb or xd springs with a lower drop on my yaris. i realize i would likely have to get a lower drop than would be required with yaris-specific springs and they just wouldnt sit as low as the yaris is lighter....

but knowing the way scions have a tendency to go in popularity....i figured id see if any xD guys would know.....

and for you xD folks, you might want to use yaris suspension parts....

as well, we dont have scion in canada, so this could theoretically be another place to hop onto a group buy for suspension items that yarisworld.com might not have, etc....
