i found some that weigh 22.5lbs. Is that pretty light for an 18 inch?

my 5Zigen FN01R-C is 17lb pounds for 18".
so 22.5lb is not light

Centerline Wheels.
18" wheels that should be less than 15lb each and should cost around $200 per wheel.
http://centerlinewheels.com/sub_wheel.php?mw_id=36

I had a set of 17x7 RPMs that were 13.5lbs each and didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

the centerline wheels look pretty nice, i like the one called the storm,it only weighs in at 17lbs. for the 18inch. How did your rpms hold up? Are they strong?

I hit a pretty large concrete brick on the freeway going freeway speeds and I had a bent rim.
I drove around with them for a while without problems before I decided to sell them.

I would say they are pretty strong.

you should just save some money and buy some nice foreged jdm wheels... that way you can get the proper size and offset wheel... you might be able to find a set used... rbwheels.com

^^Centerlines are forged and USDM.

I had the RPMs in silver?
It was a gray color.
It definitely wasn't chrome or polished.
The centercaps are missing in the pic...each is held by 4 screws and I was too lazy to put them back on.

yea ive been searching for light wheels, they can get really expensive,im not gonna spend thousands of dollars on wheels,my stock steelie and tire weigh about 40lbs. together, as long as my 18's with the tires mounted weigh 40lbs or less i will be happy lol. It can even weigh 41lbs lol. I'll let u guys know what i decide to get.... Thanks for the input....

not dissing on centerline at all im just pointing out the fact tha the sizes they offer for 18s.. are super weak.... like i said with going with most jdm companies you can get custom offsets or at least more aggressive that the centerlines... i personally have never owned them so i cant speak about quality... hell even enkie rpf1 will be about 17 pounds for 18's and come in better sizing and can be had for about 280 each... and will do the job... : )

i found some wheels on tire rack that wont leave me broke lol. They are 18's and weigh 18.6lbs. That isnt that bad. Its lighter than the factory steelies on the car. Check them out. I think they will look sick on my blue xd,especially with 18's. heres the link. Its a nice clean design(dont have to spend a half hour to clean one wheel lol)

Not everyone is trying to get them perfectly flush as others.

Do what makes you happy.

my whole thing is if you going to pay for wheels you might as well try and get the best fitting possible... ... no point to spend money if they are gonna look like you stock tires just in 18's... like i said if you like those brotha more powe to you swoop them up for the price they are great light wheels...

the black trd wheels are evil as ____! i really want to order a set its just hard to see them on other cars. which i gues is good meaning that not everyone will have them! plus they are factory wheels which i trust to be strong and have a high quality finish.
