Default max offset with 18's and TRD springs?

Im waning to get some 18x7.5's not sure what yet.... but dont want them to stick in the fender far like some I have seen. Id like it to be flush with the edge of the fender and i have no idead what offset I need. Im guessing around 35mm or so but not sure.
Also what tire size would be best to run? thanks

yep you'll be good with 35mm and trd springs - a couple of the rs1 owners are running that setup.

the thing you have to consider with the 18's is the weight - tire weight is actually quite similar to 17" weight but the wheel itself can range from 16 to 30 lbs (or more). i'd want to shoot for the wheel being no more that 23 lbs preferably.
this will be heavier than stock but not a huge impact.

oh and best tire size would be a 225 40 18 on a 7.5" rim.

also would 10mm spaceres be that bad to use? I dont know how long the lugs are on thwe xd's but with 5 studs im sure it would hold fine. Just thought I would ask...
It just seems that most of the wheels im looking at come in 40 or 45mm

hub spacers would be preferable on the rear as opposed to wheel spacers - don't have any choice on the front though if you need to use a spacer.

i've pretty much resigned myself to this when my TC rims come in.

also keep in mind that the rim width affects the spacing. an 18x8 with a 42 - 45 offset is like using an 18x7.5 with a 35-38 offset.

my current rims are 18x7.5 with a 45 offset and the sit quite nicely - in a perfect world that offset would have been 38-40

I agree...I think even a 38-35 would be perfect...I'll probably get spacers eventually...

35 it is... I cant tell exactly but looks like maybe even a 30mm would still not stick passed the fender.

I think +30 is a bit much. I know a guy running +28 on the rear and it rubs even with a 35 series tire. You would also be throwing alot more road crap on your paint. Just my .02 though.

cool. thanks for the input, so far i've not had any rubbing, maxed load, freeway big dips and other possibilities to make it rub. but i've been bottoming out on stuff. =( not used to that though. here's the set up i've got at the moment.

fronts 8.5” x 18” rear 9” x 18”
