I would like to put something a little more standard on my xD rather than the 195-60-16 which seems to confound tire dealers. Being on a budget, I prefer buying off-the-rack tires that I can get at a good discount price. Any suggestions on what I can buy for this vehicle (2008 xD) that will make my life that much easier?

Another option would be to search the internet tire dealer sites ie. tirerack.com to find out the opinion of which is the best tire to purchase or alternate size to select..205/55-16 listed as optional or you could go to a larger wheel size.

I always find the tires are cheaper online with delivery + to get them speed mounted locally at a small tire repair only shop when buying 4 tires. I find them cheaper than a auto/tire dealer. But you need to know before hand what the repair shop charges for speed mounting. They don't all charge the same $, so look around.

If you can save $10 ea x 4= $40.00 more in your budget pocket. But u need to do some shopping comparison online. Here's cheap tire site 1010tire.com to compare against that does not pop up often when u do a search for tires $.
