No the original rim is 16 x 7. Thats what size wheel i am using with the oem tires. It fits just fine. You can even go to the dealership and take a tape measure. measure one of the scion 16 rims that you can buy for like 700 bucks. Thats what i did to make certain before ordering.

All i know is what the tape measure told me and what my oems are wrapped around right now. I had no issues putting my oem's on a set of 16x7's and i had the dealers do it before i picked up the car. maybe that one inch does not make that big of a difference, i dont know.
