bronze ey? the thing i like about magnetic grey is the endless possibility for accent colors. for instance, black with machined lip?

try that. my buddy found nice rims for his tC from them. i set it up to show you some bronze beauties in 17". lowering isnt a high priority yet. with the new tires it rides a LOT nicer, so im guessing the stock dunlops have some uber hard sidewalls. looking for my intake/exhaust combo next, followed by short-shift i do admit tho that lowering it will add curb appeal.

Hey guys, a girlie girl here has a quick question.

If possible, what do you guys think of matte black with red
Konig Bumps 17x7 +40 with front 225/45-17, and rear 225/40-17?

I do not know much about rims/tires sizes, so am wondering if its even possible, and if it is safe.

>Brand new tires are coming off our 2008 328i, we bought a set of 18 M rims and do not want to waste a brand new set of tires we had.

Thanks in advance!

completely possible, it may bubble over the lip of tire a smidge, but i run 225/45/17 on stock 17x7 tC wheels and you can't even tell. are you lowered at all?

Ooops I meant rear 255/40/17, still possible?

But no xd is not lowered yet. Although I do have a set of TRD Springs but I don't think I would be lowering until I buy a new set of shocks and especially not with the tires.

gotcha. it may look a little weird cause it will go over the lip of the wheel more, but should still fit. with TRD springs you shouldn't rub any. i running the tein s-techs, which is 2.2" drop and with the 225/45/17, rubbed some at the beginning, but not anymore. look up tire fitment calculator, usually used for stretching tires. if you like the size of tire, you could always look for a 17x8.5 or so wheel

Default New Wheels and Tires..

16x7.5, 35 offset Elbrus I05
215/55R16 Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2

Sorry for the dirty car. It rains too much in central PA to keep up.

Wheels are way better than hubcaps. The 35mm offset gets the wheel and tire pretty close to flush with the fender with no rub issues at stock height. Not sure if it is the wider tire size, new tire brand, or a combination of both, but road noise at higher speeds was greatly reduced and bumps are a lot less harsh.
