This post hasn't been updated in 3 years and 1 month today. I would post, but I just got my 2012 xD 8 days ago and working on saving for some rims. I wanna stay with the 16's and have a rim in mind. Its a 16x8, but would like to know from my fellow xD owners what a good size tire would be. I want the tire to sit flush on the rim. Kinda how a 205/50 sits on a 15. That is what I had on my old xB. I will post pics as soon as I get my rims. Just wanted to bring this post back to life.
What offset are those are those rims?. I have some 06 impreza rims they are 16x6.5 and have a 55 offset im wondering if with 5mm spacers and 205/60 tires the rims will work?
Thanks
Mine are the same offset and size, but I use 205/55 tires, and those are a tight fit. I wouldn't try 60 profiles in that size if you live anywhere that snow could build up in the fenderwells.

Hmmm. To bad i really wanted a taller tire. Do you know what the offset is on the rims or what model and year they came off of?
20x8 +35 Gold BBS RS Reps wrapped in 225/30/20 Lexani tires, minor rubbing during test fit/run and this was on stock suspension with no mods.
Fenders and body kit were cut/shaved and Teins Springs on Tokico HP blue shocks/struts were fitted afterwards and no rubbing issues since dropped. Pictures shown are on stock suspensions.

ahhhh...vienna nobles! I was wondering what car you'll have them mounted on. Lookin' hella sick. I know you have like 3-4 sets of various ssr's but I'm glad to be part of the ssr family too with my only set..

tC wheels on the xD! Absolutely love the way they look, I'll miss the wider tire (previously ran 205/60/16s) but lower profile tires plus wheels without rusty steelies + fugly hubcaps looks soooo nice and really breathes new life into the car.
Planning on swapping on the old steelies with winter tires come November/December, then refinishing the wheels and dipping them in bronze.
