Painting Your Hubs??
#7
Yea, they just say that its better than the silver. But if ya gonna hate i really wont be affected. I like to be unique. Thats jus one of my talent that i can apply to my car to make it my own standout. I bought some rims i just need tires. But yea if your gonna give me negative feedback please do so, i wanna hear your opinion. But it wont change my individuality.

Caliper paint
Napa sells Caliper Paint. It is a Brush-On and it dries slow enough to make the brush lines go away, but fast enough to be really good. Here is a DIY link:

The Kit has a Cleaner and whatever you need. The paint has CERAMIC RESINS so the result is a finish that stays shiny, and oh-so-easy to keep clean and does not fade or tarnish with the heat. I just wipe them once-in-a-while with a small rag and they look like I just painted em. They come in many colors. 1 kit can paint a whole bunch of calipers.
Good Luck !

Is it easy to do??
Easier than reading the directions !!
Just PLEASE, Be SURE to use jack stands. We don't want to hear about the car falling on your foot. :<(
Take your time, and it'll look like your callipers were bought with a colored finish.
I did 3 coats. (Each coat made it look nicer) with maybe 10 minutes between coats. I did both at the same time, so back and forth while drying, etc.
I'd say it was one of the easiest mods I've done, and I have done a BUNCH... over 4K worth.

I too painted my wheel covers (hub caps only cover hubs ) because I don't want to spend money on rims, because then I'll need new tires and then I'll want to drop my suspension, etc etc. I liked the way they turned out, I'll upload some pics in a few days.
