Default TPMS

The guy I am trying to buy some rims from (Wheel dealer) is saying that I dont need to use tpms in my rims. The only thing will be that the dash light will stay on? I don only plan using these in the summer and putting my originals back on in the winter months.

Do I need to have the tpms?
Will my car be beeping at me all the time?
Is anyone else running without them?

Thanks
Again

naw, u dont need em unless u wanna waste money just to have that light off. i have aftermarket rims with no TPMS. my light stays on, but no beeps. the only thing those do is the light on ur dash turns on when the pressure is less than 20% or something. now, if u plan on running ur rims with no tpms, then u just have to check ur tire's pressure like every other week or so, just to make sure since ur car wont be telling u when u need air.

just tape over the light if it bothers you, thats what I did with my airbag light when I put my new seats in
