Default What are tunner lug nuts?

I picked up my wheels today and the guy said so are you trying to use the OEM lugs? I said no you told me that it came with lugs and he disagreed. He gave me some for free and some extras and said it requires tuner lugs. Thats not going to be a problem is it? THe wheel calls for a 5x100 but im not sure if that even has anything to do with it. I wont have them on for a few weeks because the car does not come in until August.

"tuner lugs" refer to a lug with a smaller than normal, outer diameter. Stock lugs usually won't fit on any aftermarket wheel, simply because the seat of the lug is too big to fit in the small holes that are on most aftermarket wheels.
Really depends on the wheel you are going with, as each wheel type can have different sizes. If they sent you the tuner lugs though, you should be fine.

yea most major places usually give you lugs when you get a wheel and tire package but if not there are between 50 and 100 depending on makes, style and if they have locks. they are longer and thinner than factory lug nut's in order to fit after market wheels
