Default I'm having a problem with my 2008 Scion xB

I'm having a problem with my 2008 Scion xB (Stick Shift), I try turning it on and it was dead, so one of my friend help me jump start it and it did
but, then it died, so I got a new battery and it turn on but it starts shaking like crazy and I don't know what to do.

Please help me with anything suggestions and Thank you.

Did your CEL (check engine light) light up? If yes, did you plug in an OBD-II reader and get the error code? When the car starts "shaking like crazy", what does your tach show, i.e., does the idle speed go all over the map?

Did you make sure the clutch pedal was all the way to the floor when you tried to start it? Itll act like she wont start if ya dont...


idling all shaky, yeah, do you mean its idling really, really low?...what codes did you get? Autozone will read the codes for free.....What is the voltage read out between the battery terminals on a multimeter when it's running? If it's below 13 volts, you need a new alternator...
