Is anyone running DOT 4 on the stock lines?

I have heard horror stories of people running DOT 4 and having it eat through the rubber factory lines....any info guys?

 

i know DOT 4 is corrosive, but i dont know about i eating through the OEM lines. Besides what difference is DOT 4 going to make with crappy brake lines?? The OEM lines are going to expand during hard cornering anyways, so whats the point of having a high temperature brake fluid when your lines cant hold up to the pressure??

 

I agree with you in that having braided lines is 110% better, but no matter how you look at it, higher boiling point is still going to be less brake fade. It very well may not be a significant amount less, but should it still be noticeable? Yes. simply meens more time before those lines start expanding lol.
