Default how to deal with bumps without a drop?

whats cheap, helps make a smoother ride and doesnt drop, or if so i am getting 16-17" wheels so what size drop would work for that? and can they/are they two different setups i can do or what....
i want minimal dropage! potholes= michigan!

You could do some H-tech or TRD. They both drop about 1.5". for a smoother ride you could do a thicker tire or some new shocksand struts.

Monroe sensatrac shocks and struts supposedly help, with no drop at all...

Tires with taller sidewalls give a smoother ride, too, so you probably want to stay with 15" or 16" rims, get tires that have the same or slightly larger diameter than stock... don't overinflate, obviously...

Taller sidewalls also protect those tres expensive rims, too.

The ride with Monroes and H.Techs is definitely nice. The box isn't going to ride like a Caddy, but it's certainly a tolerable ride.
