Default Anyone running 14"s on a xB

Like the title says. ^^? I have a "free" lightweight set of 7 spoke 14's left over from my miata that I'm thinking of putting on with 195/65/14. Should corner and accellerate nicely with the lower weight... probably better MPG...

anyway, with the lite weight wheels, you should get better handling in general, and better city mpg because your box will be able to accelerate better with less effort to get up to cruising speed. but on the highway once you are at cruising speed, your engine will use the same amount of gas as it did with the stock wheels since the engine is just keeping your box at speed by that point.

Sure have. All I found was one pic, and a bunch of bad links to pics that dont exist anymore.

Thanks, Makes sense to me.

I'll slap the wheels on tomorrow with the 185/60's and throw up a pic just for giggles. The tires are way too short for the xB, so helllooo fender gap. If anyone has any tire reccomendations, I'm all ears. I was looking at Sumitomo HTR H4's, nice price and seem to get decent reviews.[/url]

you can get results like that with a crank pully too. with the extra power through the entire rpm band, i can short shift and move more swiftly and get better mpg in the city, but on the interstate my mpg stays the same.

Any pics? I am thinking of rolling with some 14's myself, and would love to see them in action before I commit.

What tires did you end up with?
