Default Under Body bracing?

was looking at Vividracing.com at the Type 2 Cusco lower arm bar and noticed in it's discription is was for the front but theres also the JIC Type 2 lower arm bar that in it's discription says it's for the rear.

Cusco bar *discribed as used for front*
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...oducts_id/5749

JIC bar *discribed as used for rear*
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/31888

just wondering if these both are actualy for the same application because i haven't heard anything about a rear bar. theres also the type 1 JIC rear bar too.

i'm a tad confused...

the description says for lower mounted rear control arms, which we do not have.

they don't have it, talking about the TRD rear frame brace that was originaly made for the bB in Japan but not imported over for use on the xB.

called island motor sport and did a price check on that so thats one option.

about $350-ish the lady said with about a 3 month waiting period cause of it having to be shipped from japan.

Island Motor sports has it, like i said, about $350 for it and you would have to wait about 3 months for it to get to you being it's imported.

i'm totaly going to get it too.

i was thinking of getting ahold of a really good paint place around here for some professional powder coating down on all the parts. i'm thinkin either all in blue, black carbon fiber *color wise* or just black.

blue as to show if all off
Black carbon fiber *color wise* to show and match a bit more
or purely black to make it somewhat stealth.

i have the cusco under frame brace. it's a pretty thing, comes in metallic blue. it definitely tightens up the handling and steering a bit. body roll is reduced slightly, but noticeable, through hard cornering. also, vibrations are soaked up a little bit better.

also, tell me, whats the diffrence between arm's "1" and type "2" ? are these just two diffrent levels of stiffening or could you use both?

they're different types for different cars. so the one that is used on the xB is the typeII. there isn't an option to choose between I or II, they just have a misleading naming system.

but they are diffrent bars though... seems type 2 is a 4 point brace while the type 1 is a 2 point and only covers half of what the type 2 would do. why they would want two types ie beyond me though... unless someone wanted to add the type 1 on top of the type 2... which i dont see much gain past the type 2 anyway.
