My new wheels (15" MB Seven-X)
I finally decided on wheels, ordered them, got the OEM tires mounted on them, and got them on the box.
I put snow tires on my OEM steelies and while I wanted to go with a +1 or +2 wheel and tire setup, having the new OEM tires (4,200 miles on them) sitting in the garage made me decide to stick with a 15" wheel. I liked the Konig Rewinds and the Incidents, but decided on the MB Seven-X after seeing a picture posted by user ajayaitch .
I could not beat the price either.
$75 each from DiscountTireDirect.com with free shipping.
$45 for Gorilla lugs/locks
$12 for valve stems (rubber with chrome sleeve and nut)
---------------------------------------------
$357
-$25 e-mail coupon (see thread here https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=178587)
-------------------------------------------
$332 total for wheels, lugs, valve stems, and shipping (it took 2 days)
My local tire shop charged me $15 per wheel + tax for mounting and balancing with stick on weights.
Here are the pix:

Sure makes it look a lot nicer

I used a GPS to calibrate my Scangauge II and use that for a speedometer and just ignore the dial. I think the exact percentage it is off is posted somewhere here, but mine reads about 65 mph on the dial when you are going 60mph or so.

UPS tracking says DDD shipped me a pair of 46.50 Lb boxes. Each wheel has a couple of protective layers over the face, then the wheel is inside a plastic bag which is inside a heavy cardboard box. A pair of these boxes is inside another carboard box "sleeve" that has plastic straps and packing tape holding it all together. So if you were to take away the double boxing and stuff then the wheels would probably be less than 20lbs each, I would think.

I should have pointed out, if you don't feel like fooling with the coupon on the phone you can get the wheels for about the same price via fleabay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-1...mZ200115543561
This auction, for example, is for the same wheels for $276 with free shipping. If you buy them over the phone they would be $300 - $25 = $275. The auction is from DDD so it is the same place, same wheel.
You have to watch the prices though, they sometimes run the same set of wheels for $299. You can get the chrome sleeved valve stems and the lug/lock kit via their fleabay store as well. The final price via fleabay ends up being a couple of dollars more once you total all the items up.

Those are nice wheels. But, you kept the stock Goodyears which aren't so good. That was my dilemma- pay to get the tires remounted or pay for new tires and have them mounted and balanced free with the wheel order. I opted for the latter since it was only another $160 or so for much better tires. Then I think the local used tire place gave me $10 or $15 for each stock wheel with tire so it was only like $120 more for new Yokos.

i'm looking for a low priced wheel that's a couple (or more) pounds lighter. i assume that a couple pounds shaven on each wheel would equal more power to the ground. not sure how much, but i'm of the thinking that every little bit helps
shame though, cos i really liked these wheels
You can get the Konig Feather or Helium, they are both light - 15x6.5" Helium is 10.8 lbs. A site sponsor (www.JLBMotorsports.com ) will sell you a set of 15" Heliums for $380 delivered + $35 for hub rings and lugs/locks. Find the "set of wheels for $400" thread and send them a PM.

In the end, I decided I didn't really need any super lightweight wheels - my box is not going to win any stoplight races or get top cornering speeds without a lot of money, which I have no intention of spending on it. Same reasoning to keep the OEM rubber - I know it hurls but I already have it. If I were going to get wheels and tires I would have purchased larger (and heavier) wheels and lower profile (and heavier) tires both of which cost a good deal more money.
If I need to go fast in a straight line or a corner I will just hop in another car
You also hear lots of chatter about super light wheels being very prone to damage from even the smallest pot-holes. This may not be an issue if you go with 15" wheels and use 60 or 55 series tires, but something to think about if you go larger.
