i believe Joe...he's one crazy ****.

As for any real racing, I've only witnessed/ heard of two people that have tracked (w/ curves) their Scions and they did quite well too. But hey if you want to help out Hotchkis...you're always welcome to it. I just love variety for our cars.

joe....that sounds like me in my old volvo.....most of the trim pieces are held on with zip ties....stuff tends to fall off or get ripped off when you do weekend dirt rally.

This isnt a picture of my car, but it very well could have been...except my numbers on the side were 00.

I love that pic....i even have the huge CB antannae on mine... :D

You got it right on the nose man. I don't even have any suspension upgrades either, other than a strut bar. I'm sure I've ruined something already. Some people say that they'd like to keep or could keep their scions for atleast 10 years, I'm not nearly that optimistic. I just hope good ___, cheap products can keep comin out so it doesn't cost much to wreck my ride.

if you'd make some parts that will give us more power then i'd be racing it on the street, right now it's so slow that i'm embarrased to speed past someone.
1. intake manifold
2. supercharger
3. ect., ect., ect.

Haven't gotten mine yet. Waiting for the arrival of the TC. My dealership is expecting ours around June. If it arrives with the supercharged 2.4 and six speed manual, customers are going to have to wait cuz I got first dibs as an employee!

i plan on autocrossing my xB when i can get a nice set of shocks and another set of wheels to put some sticky tires on. i have the hotchkis bars and that help alot on the xB! right now, i just race myself.

for some reason, racing and xb are two words that dont seem to mix for me. i'm just content with this being a cruiser for me.

if i wanted to go racing, i'd go get a Honda S2000, Mitsu Evolution, Suby WRX, Nissan 350z, etc...

Exactly, but everyone is a racer these days, didn't you get the memo?

This isn't a slam, but I'd be surprised if they let you autocross an xB. The people hosting the autox might thing the xB is too tippy, therefore, too dangerous to autocross.

If you do autox with it, I'd love to see pics, though.

I usually "race" to work every morning after I sleep in. Then I race home at night to get some beer.

That's about it. I wouldn't exactly start revving at people at red lights in the xB

I was going to blow off this thread until I noticed who started it....

hotchkis,
I would bet big $$ that 4 Xbs have not seen a track day at a real closed course. I WOULD expect to see some Xas try it. I live 20mi. from Sears Point (always booked up) and 2 hours from Thunder Hill (lots of track days).

A set of your sway bars will be the next addition to my Xa. 17x7s and Eibachs are already on. Porterfield R4S (carbon/kevlar) pads are on the way. I just need more power....
