Default Sportmax questions....

Ok Sportsmax wheel owners. I want to rock the two toned sportmax's that many have on their boxes. i am thinking about getting a set but I have a few questions. I have seen sellers state that you need spacers for the sportsmax to fit the xb, is this true? Also, do you need flaired or rolled fenders? I am just looking for the 15 4x100's and dont understand why spacers or flared fenders are needed.

Are these not a direct fit?

The 002 15x8 are et 0 so they will very likely rub. Rolling fenders isn't that big of a deal...

It depends on the wheel offset, tire size and what drop you are running. The only 2 wheels I can think you are taking about are either the 002's or the 501's. If you're running Tanabe's then I would suggest rolling the fenders with either wheel. If you're on Hotchkis spring or TRD's then you're probably fine. You don't need spacers with either of those wheels. Most run the 10 mm rear hub spacers to even up the wheels with the front so that don't look tucked under the vehicle.

OK so according to your profile you have TRD springs. I don't see you having an issue with either wheel. If you want to roll the rear fenders just to be on the safe side it won't hurt.

Yeah with the TRD's and 501's you're good. What tire size are you going with?

if you go stretched, the rubber is cheaper because you need a more narrow tire. and a stretch is just as easy to mount as a normal tire (no matter what people say)
if you're going purely for looks which all of us 002 owners are, then I would go with a stretch
