Default what is the widest 15" wheel i can run on an xB?

i'm looking to get my stock steelies widened and dropping the car a LOT for a kind of rat-stylz look on the xB. i know a company that will do this, have that all straightened out, but i'm wondering what widths i should get...i can probably have them even make the stock 15's into 16" wheels, and can choose any width i want. i was considering like 15x8's up front and 15x9's in the rear, with a spacer in the rear and some nice front rake to make it look as mean as possible, but i have no idea what will fit without rubbing in turns. i need my wheel and tire combo to be approximately the same diameter as stock so my odometer reads correctly. just want wide-___ steelies, as wide as possible.

let me know if anyone's tried this with a 15" wheel, and what the results have been.

Not sure what the biggest size you could do. I would think a 8" maybe 9" depending on off set & stuff. You wont need the spacers if you get the right off set for the rear. Sorry I cant be a big help. Also Im a little :? about fat rubber out back on FWD cars.
