If you have a low offset then your going to rub
even with a wheel as small as 15. You can go
as big as 18 or 19 and not have rubbing problems
as long as the offset is good.

offset IS everything, and I'm glad to hear someone else bring that up for a change.
funny thing is that as important as offset is, a lot of wheel mfrs don't typicallylist offset on the web. btfom why.
and yeha, +40 you will be just fine. you could put 55 series rubber on there, and you still wouldn't rub. (not recommending that!)
i'd go with the 45's it's very common to see guys ride on that and its not a hard ride. 55 for me is just a tad to tall. but thats my opinion. hope it helps. or better yet camber it in -3 degrees and add a 10mm spacer!!! sorry for the thread jack. lol..
