If so, drive it like you stole it, be ready to combat front end push at high speed sharp turns, I got the slide down to a science, but can't cure it (wish I could).. if you run good, you'll be in with the hondas, but you will need to "master" the box..
if you will be doing it often.. upgrade your brake pads and go with braided front lines..
you will be seeing brake fade on the factory setup.. if the course is long enough...

I haven't heard any stories of the xB flipping over, but there was a thread once about in a guy that couldn't race his car because something with the SCCA NASA rules. After reading the rules and updating them the xA and xB are both on the list of cars for SCCA racing.
I wouldn't recommend you race your car being bone stock. Your brakes will fade and the body roll is almost unbearable. If you feel like racing with no aftermarket parts then go ahead, but my recommendation would be to at least have a set of springs (to lower center of gravity), along with pads and lines (avoid brake fade). I race mine about once every month and when you prepare these cars for the track they become VERY FUN little go-kart handling, track toys. Of course as everybody knows, we lack in power, but at least with brakes and steering you will have a blast.

the reason they made it STS "legal" was to encourage the
use of suspension mods, allowed in that class, with the box..
they feel it is safer lowered, something to do with being
wider than taller.. highly reccomend at least some springs..
but w/e.. Good Luck!! Glad to see another box hit the track..

I have seen a xb or two go through an autocross. It really is pretty cool to see a xb run the same course that other sports cars do. Even though Autocross is not my thing I still like to watch other scion owners do it.
