Default New XA Owner: Quick wheel question

Hi Everyone,

I currently bought a 05 XA as my commuter to work and back. I have a 2006 Cadillac CTS and im a member of their forum as well......

So my question is.... Is the ride bumpy with a wheel size of 15-17's? I have 20's on the CTS and its bumpy as hell. Did you guys notice a change in the feel of the ride when new wheels were put on?

Thanks

Rey

The less sidewall height you have the more brutal the ride gets, all else being equal...

Welcome to the Scion family!

Your questions is kinda vague??? For a daily driven xA the largest wheel to run would be 17". Tire size for that would be either 215/40/17 or 205/45/17 and the ride will be very near what it was with the 15" stockers. Hope this helps.

^^^^X2..it would be fine to go 17" and keep a decent ride, my 18s do get pretty bumpy at times.
