Default Strange Noise?

I have a problem in my xA where if im taking right hand turns and i go over a small bump or dip that i hear a definate thumping sound coming from my front right shock tower area. Any one have any idea what could be causing this? I have tein s-techs on stock shocks and struts thats about it and stock wheels and tires. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Check the top nut... it tends to loosen up after a spring install. Pop the rubber cap off of the top of the shock tower and it's a 17mm nut. Just crank that down, it should resolve your issue.

if that didnt fix it i would take a good look at the strut itself. you could have blown a seal the seepage might be slow so it could not be that noticable

you didnt blow a seal. Your top hat is not aligned correctly on the strut. To fix it correctly, it needs to be disassembled.
