Default 5zigen FN01R-C (5-spoke) versus Flik Arctic (mesh)

You've probably already seen an xB with the 5zigens, but I just photoshopped some mesh wheels onto an xB to see what they might look like...

I'm still trying to decide between the two. The mesh ones are cheaper and they weigh about 18lbs, as opposed to the FN01R-C which supposedly weigh about 15-16 pounds. I don't think I care too much about the weight as long as they aren't 20" solid cast iron wheels that weigh 100 pounds. If I'm really concerned about the whole weight issue, I'll just get forged BBS wheels, but then I'd have buyer's remorse for a year or something, so... I probably won't.

Which do you think look better? I think the 5zigens are a little "racier" looking, but mesh wheels like the 5zigen Heidfeld or BBS RGR look cool too. My plan is to lower it with the Fabulous Full-kit because I like the Darth-Vader-has-a-gangsta-mobile kind of look.

I think that without the windshield banner and the chrome, that is the kind of look I'm going after. I'm thinking that the mesh wheels might look better with that...

IMHO, I think the Fab kit only looks good with true VIP wheels (extreme wheels for an extreme bodykit). Having tuner type wheels like the FN01R-C with the fab kit would be like wearing sneakers with a tuxedo

With no kit, you can't go wrong with either 5zigens. Although I'd suggest the FN01R-Cast because they come in a lower offset (+35 the lowest I think) plus they are a reaonably priced lightweight wheel (way cheaper then forged wheels). But in the end, it's whatever you like best :D

No, but these are the FN01R-C on a fellow Scion Lifer's ride:

I'm not sure whether I want the tuner look or not, but I like them both.

I agree with stankubrick, a Fab kit (or any VIP style kit) with either of those shoes just won't work.

5Zigen never sold the FN01R-C with a polished lip, you'll have to have it done by a shop or something.
