Default Springs Springs Springs???

Hi'ya there ScionLife!!! I wanna do a 1.5 drop to my xB but I can't decide which brand of springs to purchase!!! I want my xB to get a low mean stance but I also want decent ride quality. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The search button works nicely.

Here are you options:

Hotchkis: 1.38F & 1.65R

Progress : 1.8F & 1.5R

Goldlines : 2"F/R

Tanabe : 2.2F & 2.0R (I believe)

I have the hotchkis springs on mine and I love the ride. Right now the rear sits lower but I have a heavy @$$ speaker box back there. But they will level the car our.

The progress will give to a lightly lower drop in the front. I have no clue how they ride though.

Goldlines are slightly lower than the Progress and the ride to me was a little stiff but they were brand new springs so I'm not sure.

Tanabes still have a pretty good ride for as low as they are and are the lowest you can go with a lowering spring.

There are still one thing you need to consider though. What kind of wheels are you running i.e. Size, width, offset?

I'm running on Goldlines, the ride is kinda stiff, but it's not jarring. I like em.

i just got the df-210's from chris at explicit-motoring. lower than 11/2" though. the TRD springs go a bit more than 1" (they are 30mm) with a real solid ride. i've got a set with 25k on them for sale. they aren't low enough for me.

I have the Tanabe NF210s, and they are a great spring. They lowered my car about 1.75", and the ride is much better than stock.

I'm thinking about going to DF210s, though. I want to be lower.

I just got the Vogtlands installed today and they are amazing for the price and the color is nice too.
The drop is a little more than TRD.
You can not beat them for the price.

My friend has Skunk2 springs on his xb and they dropped a little more then 1.5". They feel stiffer them stock but not too stiff or bouncy.

You can find great deals online too.

The H-Techs are the only spring that is truely a 1.5" drop. All the others are more.

BTW ..... FYI my xB sits lower then my GFs. Im on Progress and she is one GoldLines with both of us on Scion Twists 15" wheels.

Hey CBS!!

I saw Jeff on sunday at homegrown performance.

www.homegrownperformance.com

Thanks!

He felt the Vogtlands were gonna drop a little more than TRD's.

I am going back to Jeff with my Strup header.

Thanks again.

Jeff said he put some Vogtlands on a few TC's.
