Why not get a set of quality springs from Hotchkis or similar? I wouldn't spend less than a grand on coil overs because you definately get what you pay for.

Oh this is an easy one to answer.

1. There ____ coilovers, I can guarantee something on them will break.
2. Sleeve Coilovers like the ones u mentioned suck and are a _____ to align.
3. With coilovers you need the car cornerweighted in order to actual handle properly.
4. You need to do some research on suspension for future refernce.
5. Get some regular lowering springs and some new struts.
6. Bigger tires will look like ___ on the 17" rim size.

Lowering springs are a set drop with no adjustability.
Coilovers allow for adjustment but the thing about this is anytime u touch the suspension you have to get the car re-aligned. The proper way to align the car is getting it corner-weighted anyway. Its not cheap and I doubt it owuld be easy to find someone to do it as well. Reason for this is the car might look something like this with coilovers.

Front Left Wheel 852

Front Right Wheel 962

Rear Left Wheel 600

Rear Right Wheel 669

See how ur car might not be balanced correctly, this can drastically affect handling, Thats why I am not a big fan of Coilovers of any type($300 or $1300).
Plus most people who buy coilvers for the ease of adjusting usually never even raise or lower the car for winter or summer.

You can get some lowering springs and can get away without struts, but if its usually over a 1" drop the stock struts will not usually not last long due to being compressed more than normal. So sooner or later struts will need to be replaced, might as well get it done all at once and save on installation.

warning about the goldline.. they bind like a **** which after a long time will cause alot of extra stress. the tanabe's and the tein's don't seem to bind as much . just the design
