New iPod + $100 back = Happy Me!
I bought an 80 GB iPod about 3 weeks ago for $350. Then yesterday my buddy that works at Best Buy calls me and tells me that his store got 10 new 80 GB iPod Classics in and that if I hurry down there I can get one. I hauled down there and ended up getting the new 80 GB iPod classic and $100 back! Best Buy didn't even ask questions. I would recommend doing this to anyone that has bought an 80 GB in the last 30 days. Also, the color of the new ones has changed. I thought mine was going to be white like the old ones, but it's actually a nice silver. The new black is a matte black not a glossy black like the old ones. Just thought I would share with you guys.
I also got my 80 gb about 3 1/2 weeks ago. After I read on apple.com that they drop the price I called Circuit city and they told since I was with in the 30 days I qualify for a price match but not for exchange. So I went today I got my $100 back too. I still kept my Ipod and I'm Happy with it.
I was going to exchange my 60 gb black for a new one, but applestore apparently only gives 10% for exchanges. $40 for my $400 ipod? yeah go screw yourselves apple. Time to start checking prices on ebay...
