205 on 6.5?
Anybody running 205 wide tires on 6 1/2" wide rims? By my usual way of thinking, the tires would seem too wide for that size wheel (205mm tire vs. 165mm wheel widths), but I'd like to hear/see what you've got...
I'm running 205 60 15s on the stock rims... and they're doing just fine.
I check with the Michelin website first to see what rim widths they recommended... and even 6" was listed.
I'll snap some pics if you're interested... and hey, the stock tires are 185mm wide...

Pics would be great if it's not too much bother.

I remember my days on my 5.0 mustang, 15x7" rims stock, with 225/60/15s... and that was a 3300lb car with a V-8!
Guess it's all relative... hehe.

205's on 6.5 is fine. it's not too wide at all. as 205 section width is a narrow tire

I know the 205 will FIT on a 6 or 6 1/2" rim, but I'd like to know if it looks "pinched" on something that narrow. As I mentioned above, that's a negative difference of 40mm (1 5/8") tire vs. wheel, not exactly an optimum fitment.
