anyone have 225/40 18 tires
They are going to rub on turns in the front. I know they will rub on the fender well (firewall side) but the part it hits can be beat down to clear it. That's that I did. If you are running 10mm hub spacers in the rear with a wheel that is +38 or less and dropped you are going to have to roll the quarters. If you don't you'll cut up tires. I'd save the headache and go with the 215's.
I just went with 225 40 18 after having 215 35 18s. they look a little big and they rub at one spot on turns but I'll try to beat them down and cut the little plastic that rubs, besides that I'm loving the ride and my rims have a LOT more protection from my wife ;) . the only thing that concerns me is the PSI says 44 max and I'm running them at 40.
