Got out of a 4 1/2 year relationship about 5 months ago... and I'm ready to move on. Consider myself a pretty good looking guy, and have pretty good confidence talking to girls or asking them out... Anyhow, so 4 times in a row I meet a girl, and get their number. In some cases, they told me to take it without even asking. Which btw is usually followed by them telling me something on the lines of "make sure you call me, I definitely want to hang out". After that, I usually do the normal thing, wait til a couple days before the weekend and give a call. At this point, I never get an answer. So I'll leave a quick message or text, something like "just seeing how your week's been going. Give me a call back, there's a couple fun things going on this weekend."

Ehh, anyhow, I'm frustrated. Occasionally I get a call or message later like "sorry I've been busy" or whatever, but ntohing ever seems to come out of these encounters. I've met friends of friends, random girls at bars, girls from work situations, girls I used to know... I just don't get it. So my question is, where am I going wrong? I guess I'm just off of my game from being tied-down so long. I don't think I'm coming off as being desperate or even needy. Maybe the girls are just not confident enough to call back or waiting for another call? But that I don't like to do... Hopefully it is just bad luck.

 

did you forget to tell them that you have a scion tc? you gotta tell them that to make a sure thing, worked for me with my current girlfriend.

Maybe you just need to not try so hard? You might just stumble on the perfect girl without even knowing it. I met my fiance from a group project we got assigned to in one of our classes 5 years ago. I was never really good at talking to girls. If I had to go back to dating, it would be bad, humilating scene.

And yeah, change that scion emblem to a lexus and the girls will be all over you. Better yet, put a porsche shield instead

Have you tried that Axe bodyspray? If the commercials are any indication, then a few sprays of that stuff and you be drowning in.....umm....tang.

Uh it might you who's chasing them away. Are you happy with yourself at the moment? I can usually tell when guys aren't comfortable with themselves, and I can tell when they're acting. Make yourself happy first then worry about females. It works for my friends when they broke up or are just feeling down that no one is calling them back.

Well...Coming from an ex pimp and PIT (pimpin in training) teacher. I'd say you are doing things right. Now the thing is when you are looking for a chick it won't happen. Basically take it slow and the best way to meet a girl is to become a friend first. That's if you want something serious of course. One other thing that I have always told buddys is if you have a friend that's a girl, she has got to have some good looking friends that you can meet.
