Default Hotchkis Springs

Firstly, how do Hotchki springs compare to other brands? Secondly, if I got hotchki springs would I need to get aftermarket shocks/struts and if so then what kind?

Thanks

I am not going to post a comparison because I am kind of prejudice. But as for the shocks, you do not need to replace them. My wife drives an xB everyday without any shock issues. The springs have been on there for over a year.

Hope this helps.

I have had them for 2 weeks now and I could definitely feel the difference. The ride is much better than before but it gets even better when you push ure car in hard corners and handling...THERE you can really feel the difference. As far as looks I could tell you that since I got the car I wanted to drop it...Wiffey always opposed to it because "It's going to be to low for the streets here" (nY). After putting them on..she really didnt even noticed the difference...BUT I sure as hell did...So yeah..I like them..

Unless your vehicle came equipped with High Performance dampers - preferably adjustable, we always recommend replacing your dampers when lowering a vehicle!
