Default How to ship a big screen TV?

Hey everyone,

As a few of you know, im selling my 42" panasonic HDTV on here. And im trying to figure out how to ship it, and how much it costs. Has anyone ever shipped a big screen TV? If so, where and how much did it cost?

The only way will be freight and you may have to do what they do to bike frames, crate it up, build a wood frame around it and box it inside of it.

lol I work at UPS and the big screen tv's that I've seen come through so far weren't in wooden crates. They were in their regular boxes, all messed up...felt sorry for the person that was going to receive that.

I use Pakmail for all my car parts shipping. They do crates as well.

http://www.pakmail.com/services/large.asp

They should be able to get you an estimate of you know your TV size and weight. It also helps to know where you're going to ship it. They use FedEx, DHL and UPS.
