I love me tein S-techs, im on 215/40/17 and the ride great (stock springs) they also look great as the car sits low...the Tenis are a bit stiffer of a ride

Ive seen the DF210's (tanabes) those are a little more than 2'' drop and they also feel good but look very close to the S-techs in terms of ride height..

I'm in the same boat...undecided.

I like the Tanabe DF210's, but they are too low for my taste. The NF210's may be perfect for me, but I can't find any good pics of them installed on an xB.

I only want to do this once, and since I can't find good pics of the NF210's, I started to look at the Tanabe coilovers...

Please, if anyone can point us in the direction of some good pics of the NF210's on an xB, it would be greatly appreciated...

Ok, Here's a small update for ya...

I spoke at length with Mike @ Tanabe USA regarding all their products for the xB. As far as springs go, he told me that the NF210's may feel slightly more taught than the DF210's even though their overall spring rate is lower, becuase they have a less amount of progressive coils than the DF210's.

It just goes to show you that you really can't go by the advertised spring rates.

Mike also said the NF210's produced a drop of 1.7 up front and 1.2 out back on the xB they installed the springs on, and it was a bone stock xB.

They only other springs I was considering was the KGM Sports (kg/mm) DR Proceed SS springs (40mm drop up front, and 40mm drop out back). They are kinda pricey though and very hard to get in a timely mannor since they have to come straight from Japan. Maybe I'll give them a go if I don't like the NF210's, but for now, I think I'll give the the NF210's a try...

I have heard of the RSR springs, but from all I've read about them, I don't think they are as "wife friendly" as some of the other springs out there

I do like them though, and the drop is gorgeous!!!

If I'm not mistaken I believe the RSR drop is 2.0 in the front, and 1.2 in the rear...

If you guys are looking for around a 1in drop with a better ride than stock look at the Tein H-Techs. They claim 1.1 in the front and .9 in the rear but I think they settle a little lower. I have had mine on for a month now and the ride is good.

For a lower drop the springs Stylis is selling have a very nice stance. If you look on his site the main page has a picture of the springs and his xb with them.

My wife isn't too crazy about me lowered either, but the ride is better than stock and when I load it down the car is evened out. No rubbing on my 18s at all. I just went to the SE garage sale and I loaded down the scion with mufflers springs and scionlife memeber doctorcue. Had a flawless ride and my car was at an even rake. No sag what so ever. :D

Glad to hear that Stylis...

If the NF210's don't work out I just may give the RSR's a go!

Dude, you just got everyones hopes up and than smashed it down with the no free shipping from modacar. Anyway, the shop will have stuff for sale but no discounts to my knowledge. What do they have for scions anyway? Aren't they just race imports only?
