Default Car Auctions/Government Auctions/Seized car auctions anybody

Has anybody ever tried buying a car from an auction, either government auction, or repo auction or anything?

Seems legit, but you gotta pay to sign up, etc

Here's the claim:

Every month, 1000s of cars become government property through seized and foreclosure laws. Since there are so many cars in these government auctions, and the enormous costs for storage, these cars must be sold fast and cheap!

By completing a simple search right here you can take advantage of these great cars of all kinds.

Car-Auction has a database full of thousands of different repo cars just waiting for you to bid on! You cannot find a better way to purchase a car than through online repo auctions. Buying a car can be a difficult decision and a stressful process.

Make buying your new car fun by purchasing through government & surplus auctions!

Is this legit?

What do you guys think? , or

To be honest, I have never gone to a government auction. However from what I have heard it is a lot of hassle finding anything worthwhile. Most of the time used car dealers are the big customers at auctions. Your best bet is to contact your local banks who may have repossesed vehicles and want to get what they can for them. They are banks after all, they simply want money, not products. Just my $0.02.

also keep in mind that any criminal seizure of a vehicle most likely means that the interior is gonna be ripped to shreds especially if its a drug related seizure...lets just say the detectives arent so careful when looking for illegal contraband inside the vehicle
