I have the first set of imported TEIN Wagon dampners for the bB, same as the Basics for the xB. I love them as it smoothed out the ride. Some peeps who have ridden in my xB have since converted over to coilovers also. Some went to Cusco, some went to HKS, as you can go lower w/ those brands. But most will say that the TEINs have the best comfort level.

actually, according to TEIN and my experiences...
tein wagon dampers and tein basics are different in how
soft/hard the shocks are.. they both lower about the same,
BUT the wagon dampers ride a lot smoother/softer than the
basics..
i have basics and im telling u, with a lil work(nothing major),
u can get it to drop 3".. im pretty sure im about 3" down.
the front goes totally 3" and the rear goes about 2.5 or more/less?
if i roll up to a xb on 18's running tanabe df210's(2.25F/1.7R) i can see
more than 1/2" difference in height! so that proves that u can get
teins to set about 3" if u want.
as for a good place? i think finalstageauto.com is a sponsor on this site
and they seem to deal quality stuff...
try optionauto too!

Joey,
I'm just basing my opinion on the first set of Basics that were released. There may or may not have been some changes since then. The next time I'm at TEIN, I'll ask them.
I never really measured my xB once I installed the TEINs, but with 215/40-17s, the front fender sits about 1/8 inch above the tire. And in the rear, it sits about 1/8 inch above the tire.
I guess I could always ask someone who has ridden in my car, and then bought a set for theirs.

Darren,
I'm pretty sure that both HKS and Cusco are 3(+) inches. Both Ken and Na'im state they have plenty of threads left to go lower.
how low do the other coilovers go?

tanabe's lowering springs are the bees knees so i would assume if they have even decent shocks it'd be the best bang for the buck coilover out there. all i know is that ebay coilovers are the cheapest way. lol i sport em .
