Default Tein S Tech Springs-Sag???

Has anyone had their S.Tech springs for a while now and noticed any sag? I have been counting on it to sag about 1/2 an inch.

Darn! hahah, I was kind of hoping to hear "yes, they did sag some". I was goi ng to get the Eibach's which are a 2" drop but I was affraid that after sagging it would be too low. So I got the Tein's because it's a 1.7" drop and I figured that they would sag and be just right.

Yes they definitely do. I've had mine for a few years and I'd say it's around 2" in back, 2.5+" in front (1/2" of that is from Monroe struts...) Right now I'm about as low as I would want to go.

Boxer Rebellion- Thank you. And BTW, I heard that if I get better shocks (I'm on stock Toyotas) that it would lower my car further. Sounds like it was true with your Monroes. Sounds good to me.. do you know if this is the case with any brand of struts that I buy?

It's not really a matter of "better" struts (even tho they are) but the fact that they were designed for the Echo and the fronts happen to be 1/2" shorter... Monroe Sensatracs. They are inexpensive and improve the ride 100% on the Teins... not for autocrossing tho, Konis are better for performance. But for ride and stance Sensatracs can't be beat.

71575 -front

Also do a search for "sensatrac" as there is alot of related info on this site.

I'm on S Techs and yeah they do sag. I installed them about 3 years ago, at 10,000 miles and now im at 95,000 and they have sagged quite a bit. It's annyoing. Time to change the suspension again!

I'm at about 50k with them. Right now they are the perfect height for me... any lower might be an issue. A big factor of ride height has to do with what size tire I run, 195/50/15's were scrapping alot on driveways etc. Now I'm on 205/50/16's and no problems
