Default et 0, bad for wheel bearings?

i'm looking at a set of 16x8 et.0 sportmax 002's for my 06 xb.
I think i've read on here that such a low offset can shorten the life of the wheel bearings, is this true?

Has anyone had any difficulty with this size wheel and offset combo?

thanks

zero offset means the mounting surface (backside of rim) is exactly centered in the hoop side to side i wouldn't believe its a concern till
you get up there in negative offset

it'll still put excess stress on the wheel bearing, but nothing too extreme.. The more negative you go, the more stress you're adding to the bearings. Just think of it like using a hand size ratchet compared to using a breaker bar. Lowering the offset adds more leverage to the stress put on your wheel bearing since you're extending the stance out.
