Default 1 Month. 2 Hit And Runs. Pics

Alright so i just got my brand new 08 sw and I just got hit for the second time. I was at a party and I parked across the street from the house. There is always a car parked there, ive parked there pleanty of times. I came out to grab somthing from my car to find my side mirror hanging from the door and a pretty big dent on my drivers side door. I kinda froze really quick, closing my eyes makin sure im really seeing this, it was pretty depressing..

Turns out one of my girlfriends cars was parked in the driveway, shes got 5% tint all around (why the ____?) and it was pretty dark out, im guessing it just came out turning the wheel left, car goes backwards and the back right bumper completly hits my car. It wasn't her driving she was right next to me, but she was pretty sick so her boyfriend had the car, and her boyfriend gave her cuz the keys to grab somthin outa the car.. I guess he tried to leave, and hit my car, re-parked it and went in like nothing happend...
I took the car in today and my insurance will cover it on the fact that my friends cuz gave me 500$ to fix it. And if i need more he said he will cover it. Ill find out the estimate tomorrow and find out if they need to replace the whole door.

**Pics are taken with my phone** Really bad quality you cant really see the dent, but its big enough that there might be a possibility to have to replace the door.

damn. I hate people that don't man up to their mistakes. I know a chick that left a nice dent in my front bumper. I'm waiting until the last day of school to address it with her. Make her feel dumb.

if you want my opinion, you bring it on yourself. i never park my car on the street, and i would never take my car to a party. too many potential problems for people to damage my car either accidentally or intentionally. i'm not going to park my car somewhere that will have alot of drunk people puking or doing stupid stunts around, or where it could get caught in the middle of some stupid drucken act of stupidity.

so the moral of the story is park your car in a safe spot, even if it means you have to walk a fair distance. it is up to you, short walk and high risk, or long walk and less risk, or paying to park in a garage, or paying to pull a dent or replace a mirror?

some extra advice, don't park your car in a spot where there might be alot of people entering/exiting or backing out of a tight spot. there are lots of terrible drivers out there.
