I know theres no way to avoid this but I dont want to scrape much with my Kaminari kit so whats the ideal drop? I have 18" rims and currently I'm pretty high off the ground but what do u guys think?

 

wondering the same thing since im getting this kit soon. I also have 18's and am on trd's at the moment.

 

I have the H&R sport springs and I rarely scrape.

h tech is 1.9 in front, and 1.5 in back, so a bit lower than H & R

 

Put TRD lower spring will be good ~!

 

That drop looks perfect to me.

 

I think it's perfect. About a finger gap front and back... just enough to where I don't scrape. I am on 19's just fyi.

 

nick is riding on TRD's with his kami kit and it looks pretty good

I hate to jack the original thread, but while we are talking about the kaminari kit, anybody else out there have problems with the fit of the kaminari bumper to the stock splash guard/splitter? I had to remove all that underbody plastic because it wouldnt stay in place...

 

The thing about body kits is allot of the times they wont work with stock parts like bumper absorbers or splash guards so you have to find a way around it or mod it.

 

yeah i figured that... was planning on fabbing up a custom splitter a la Dr Isotope anyway

 

^ I'm already on that for all of us Kaminari owners hehehe

I still dont want to be too low because it shifts the bumper and loosens the fit.
