Default sunroof explosion

So.. anyone that lives in western mass knows how the weather is today. Snow / rain / ice

i'm driving to work today, and i'm assuming a chunk of ice flew off a 18 wheeler in front of me and smashed my sunroof. All of a sudden their was just an explosion above my head, and then suction coming from the sunroof. I had the vinyl covering it so I didn't have any glass fall on me or anything. I just wanted to share. I'm pretty ____ed. It's raining all day long, so I had to go to a glass place immediately, I missed work. Now the TC is sitting in a garage waiting for the sunroof to come in. Luckily for me, I live above a glass place, so my car is literally under my ___ right now.

Those who commute in glass cars shouldn't drive behind trucks.

Sorry to hear it man! Do you have unlimited glass coverage on your policy?

yeah, glass is covered. I think all insur. policies in mass require it.. or at least if the car has a loan on it. Could be wrong tho.

I just hope they're isn't anything else broken, just the glass.

That is how it is here in MN as well. I have never had the option, it has just been included. Good to have though.

Probably just the glass as long as you didnt try to open it and bind up the mechanism on the glass pieces. If it is the moving panel it only takes 20 minutes or so to swap it out. Longer to vacuum all the glass out of course
