That's a good question.
I'm still uber paranoid when ebay and Tein appear in the same sentence though. I know that you can get legit ones there, and I know the bootleg market for the H.Tech isn't as big, but even so.

Not many people want such a conservative drop

I'm glad someone else said it before me... I know everyone thinks it. I wanted S-Techs because of past experiences with Tein products (all good obviously) but When I was looking through pictures of cars outfitted with S Techs I kept noticing discrepancies on ride height, comfort, and it was crazy how much it seemed to vary in-between rides... I asked a few guys where they got their springs and there's a few people out there riding on green "ebay s techs" that I'm certain are definitely not Tein's product. Unless you get a water marked official warranty paper 2 decals, and they're in a Tein box... I wouldn't ride with those springs in my car. I picked up my Tein's from ERZ performance... Took a week and a half to get the springs from CA to VA, but no complaints... Would have got the Tanabe's but those things are LUDACRISLY too low to the ground. I love the slammed look but also want to keep my car somewhat practical.
