Default swapping back to stock springs for winter?

I am ordering a set of springs, but was just curious, after the install is it possible to put the stock springs back in for the winter or will it throw off the alignment and everything all over again ?

No, you can do it, although you might have to realign... most places will guarantee the alignment for 6 months though...

Why swap back? I went through a Chicago winter dropped 2" and was fine.

It would look unfinished... why not do the headliner too?

I ordered the hotchkis springs , A friend of mine has them on his rs3 tc and I duno why I just like the drop I know its not the same on a box, plus its the only springs I know of aside the trds that do not require the bump stops to be cut because it comes with a set of their own. I was going to go trd but I heard they are barely noticeable and were a bit more money.

You'll be fine. Thats what I do for the winter. Its to easy not to. Makes getting through deep snow easier too. Leaving it lowered sucks in the snow.

Do like I do, I drive a beater for the winter. No need to have the Box out in the crappy winter weather...

You can go back and forth as much as you like without alignment problems. I've never had to align mine and I lost tracl how many spring swaps I've done. Had it checked about a year ago and it was still in spec.
