Default update on my 18's PICS

hey thanks to everyone for the help, i just put my rims on and they look awesmoe in in my opinion! they have a little road noise and small "small" vibration at certain speeds. do you think that could be fixed with an alignment? thanks again to everyone for the help!

When you put on new rims & tires, its always a good idea to do an alignment. If you just starting getting some road noise, I would double check your tire pressure, other than that, the noise would be caused by the tires themselves. Alignment won't fix vibration concerns, but a small vibration may be an indication of wheel inbalance, or wheels that were not centered properly when bolted on. Check tire pressure, loosen all wheel nuts slightly & retighten in a star pattern with a torque wrench to ensure proper seating.
Other than that, looking good!

Uh, an alignment is not needed with a wheel swap. Only if you lower the car. Check to see that the wheels are balanced properly and make sure the wheel is seated to the hub properly.

I got them mounted and balanced at a discount tire near by. Do you think I should go to them and ask if they should be making the road noise?

Road noise just might be the tires. What rubber is on there? Some are noisier than others.

The small vibration is most likely due to improper balancing. The noise is probably the tires. Bring it back to DT and tell them the vehicle is vibrating at certain speeds and ask for a re-balance.
