Front vs Rear springs
I'm gonna bite the bullet and ask the noob question, what visual differences are there? I'm getting ready to install this and I don't want to mix them up and have a lopsided drop, if thats even possible. I bought Ksports btw, drop @ 2" front, 1.6" rear
It's really not possible to mix em up. It's very obvious. The one without the taper goes up front. The back spring wouldn't fit on the strut properly... so yea, don't worry about it.
Also, when putting the rear spring on the perch, make sure whatever writing is on it is facing the right way (as in not upside down)
The spring manufacturers have different dead coil orientation. Tein puts em up top and Tanabe puts em on the bottom, for instance.

Oh I'll have help and I'm not at all worried about it, I just like to know these things beforehand (OCD, I guess). I like to get as much information as possible before I go and do something, that way I'm not running back and forth between the computer, garage, car, computer, kitchen and so on.

OK then. It's really straight forward but if it's the first time only do one front side at a time and pay VERY close attention to the way the parts come apart.
When pulling the strut assmbly out I alwys find it easier to drop it down in front of the axle shaft then pull the top out first. Also be very careful to not hit the fender lip when doing it.
If you get stuck you always have the shop manual link in my signature to show what goes where.

thanks! i checked your link, to satisfy my curiosities and it looks like, as was mentioned before, the bigger springs go up front and the smaller ones sit in the rear. Bigger, being wider I guess.
