Default any insight on these bags??

i was just cruising around on the net and came across this:
http://www.kmwperformance.com/product/KT1-XB.aspx

anybody have any experience, or know of anybody with them? the cheap price is attractive, but im not sure if you get what you pay for.

Its just a modified Airlift Kit. Kind of expensive for a 4 valves 1 compressor setup. I could do better.

I'd say really to run at least 6 valves. 8 would be better. Plus I like the dependability of 2 compressors. But I drive my bagged rides pretty long distances.

not saying anyone is lame for paying a lot of money for a bag setup but uhhh if you do pay more than a grand for a FULL set up, thats a little rediculous. complete ive got about 800 in mine. set up for Front/ Back/Side to Side. full guages, fully wired. looks good and ive had it on there for close to 3 years. love it and love every time i kiss the ground with my airdam... my suggestion is check around for parts like used guages, airtank, switch box, valves that are in good condition, etc... i know everyone wants new new new but the fact of the matter is, unless someone deliberatly tried to destroy those kinds of parts than they will work just fine. it will save you money right off the bat by just looking around to see what others have for sale. might i suggest checking out the mini trucking websites like s-10forum.com. (no promotion just a suggestion).

im completly new to the airbag systems. i was a prior supra owner and was setup to race, whether it be straight lines, or autocross. if somebody could post a complete list of parts i would need, i would have no problem piecing together my own kit. im just in a completly different world when it comes to air. $800 sounds mighty fine with me too.

thank you for the listing for all the parts. only problem i now run into is the installation/fittings. what sizes to go with, where they need to go, etc. also, without prior experience it makes it difficult to install as its like a puzzle without a picture on it.

by the way, your box looks sick! thats exactly what im going for.

guck84...where did you mount that slim 5 gal 8 port tank? As of now, I am running two 3 gal tanks with two ports each. I would much rather run one slim tank with 8 ports.

i like "quk84's" setup. you should get an 8 valve setup to prevent body roll. 3/8" valves imo are overkill, 1/4" valves will do fine in our boxes. smc valves are the best i've ever known. also, the least holes on the tank, the better. all you need is (4) holes on a tank. (1) for the front valves, (1) for the rear valves, (1) for the pressure switch, & (1) for the compressor(s) inlet. (the more holes you have, the more chances of leaking. to speed up the reaction time, the front valves should be built in a “t” formation & attached somewhere in the engine compartment, preferably on the firewall. from there, the valves are charged with air then released within a distance of maybe 1.5 to 2 feet…vs. the pressure being released from the rear of the vehicle then traveling all the way to the front. ½” line should be used of course.
