Default P195/60R15 tires are perfect size!

Bought a set of Uniroay Tiger Paw Touring P195/60R15 for $300. Ride is way smoother and speedo is right on with a GPS test. MPG is around 30-31.5 last two tanks.

Perfect.... not so sure about that.
The 195/55 is the recommended diameter size tire for our cars = as accurate as possible speedo.

Not so sure there is such thing as a perfect tire.. if so it would be $400 for a 15" tire, even then the price would not make it "perfect"

It's closer to perfect than the stock P185/60R15's. I'm really happy with the P195's.

Given our engines, weight, etc. , I'd also concur that a 195/55 or 195/60 fifteen-inch- 15" wheel is best, overall (gonna be lighter then going 16"+ overall wheel + tire , plus there are still a bunch of tire options still out there for 15").

Nice to know Mike! This is my next size tire. Now I only gotta pick which rims I want to put them on.

Yes.. tires are the easy part of the wheel , rims are definitly 100X more difficult to dial in which is the right one to go with , since everyone has there own style/tastes!

I don't have the cash for aluminum wheels since I have major house updating to do over the next 5 years. The Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires are smooth riding, quiet and handle good as well. Price was right at $300. It's my wifes car mostly so there's no racing stuff in the plans.

I had a GPS on our trip recently and the speedo was right on with the P195/60R15's. I got 31.5 mpg on last tank.
