This may be a dumb question but im new to the scion thing but do i have to do any any mods to fit 20's i have a 04 rs1 and im trying to build it on a budget so let me know if you have any ideas thanks

If you run a 215/30/20 you shouldnt have to modify anything, i started off with 225/35/20 and had to do a little trimming and massaging with a sledge hammer, lol then with the airride changed to 215/30/20 and am very happy with that size

i got 225 30 20 on an xa and needed the help of a sledge hammer also,after lowering it needed it again.

my car is lowered 2 inches and rides on 18s and I rub when I turn so you guys have to rubbing so bad. inmo I think 20's are way to much for our cars.

i am really worried about rubbing do you guys rub with 20s i am building this car for my girl and dhe drives alot and i really dont want to buy tires every month

I have had 20" for 2 years and running 225 30 r20 bfg tires and no problems and no mods needed

In all seriousness, that's a smart use of those brake-dust-shields. Granted, the wheels you roll on aren't my taste, but you get points for putting thought into how they look on the teeny stock drums.

yeah big boy chrome aint for everyone I wouldn't cruise any other way but I couldn't bare to look at those ____ty tiny drums so I came up with a unique way of using a dust shield to hide them

I got 20's on my XB with TRD springs and it's a tight fit. Tires are almost as thin as rubberbands.
