D2 Coilovers, PROBLEM!
Ok, so its probably just me, and being a newb to coilovers, but I am having a issue with my D2's raising higher than they currently are.

^current ride height (which I love, but I need 1/2" more for clearance issues)
Now I have adjusted the lower part of the coil over (not the spring perch) all the way down before I loose the dust covers on the bottom of the strut. And compressing the springs only tightens the preset load on them. Tighter I go, harsher the ride.
What the hell am I doing wrong? Need help ASAP.

They've been on the car for two days now. And technically, they should settle after about 10 feet of movement.
However, still, can't raise any higher. And yeah. It'll go hella low, just not higher than this? Can that be? I only need a freaking half inch!

I found my rubbing issue. Turns out I am rubbing threw the bumper/fender corner mount. (eek!) I removed the driver side bolts, and replaced the bottom with a zip tie, and top with a push fastener, but still need to do the driver side.
However, I think eventually I am going to rub threw that, and start eating the mount up.
